Manager Previews Season DeciderNeil McDonald says Blackpool must be fully concentrated on the task in hand as the club aims to try and retain its League One status.
The Seasiders head into the final game of the season at Peterborough United knowing only three points will suffice, as well as a defeat for Fleetwood Town, to keep them up.
Unable to influence the other defining fixture, the one and only job for the Blackpool players is to pick up a victory at The ABAX Stadium.
"We know that we have to win the game and fingers crossed that Crewe can win a second game on the bounce," McDonald said.
"We have to worry about our own performance and make sure that we come out on the right side of it with a victory.
"We can't get sidetracked by anything else, we have to win our game. It's as simple as that."
The previous meeting with Peterborough brought about one of Blackpool's best performances of the season, and something similar will be required on Sunday.
"It was an excellent performance, they were riding high at the time and scoring lots of goals. If we play like we did when we're down there, then we've got a really good chance of winning the game. We've certainly got to be clinical in front of goal.
"We certainly have to get at them and try and create the chances that we know we can create. We'll need to be tight at the back as well because they're a dangerous attacking team with nothing to play for, so they'll be looking to express themselves. They've also got a caretaker manager who is trying to get the job so they'll be looking to impress him.
"They'll be a dangerous prospect but a prospect that we're really looking forward to playing," he added.
