Work Begins On Playing Surface
Work is now underway on the Bloomfield Road playing surface in preparation for the 2016/17 football season.Following the conclusion of the RFL Summer Bash over the Bank Holiday weekend, ground staff started work on the pitch ahead of pre-season friendlies taking place against Blackburn Rovers and Bury on 23 and 30 July, respectively.
League fixtures for the new campaign will be announced at 9am on Wednesday 22 June.
