Manager Previews Mansfield Town Fixture
Gary Bowyer says Blackpool must continue to play with intensity, as the players look to continue building momentum against Mansfield Town this evening.
The Seasiders, on the back of a victory against Leyton Orient on the weekend, head to the One Call Stadium in great form, having scored 15 goals in a six-match unbeaten run.
"We've prepared properly, we've recovered well and we're really looking forward to going there in the form that we're in," the manager said.
"We've got to continue to play with that intensity that we're playing with. We weren't as fluid as what we have been on Saturday, but our shape and organisation was fantastic off the ball, and we'll be looking to repeat that."
The opposition are under new management following the appointment of Steve Evans last week, however the onus will be on Blackpool's own performance.
"We all know what happens when a new manager goes in to clubs, but we've just got to concentrate on ourselves and go and produce the performances that we've been showing. We're delighted that we're now doing that, and getting the outcomes, on the road."
The match was subject to a pitch inspection earlier this morning, yet the game has now been given the green light and the players are relishing getting back out there.
"You want to play games all the time, especially when you're in the form that we're in and with the performances that we've been producing. Winning is a good habit and now we've managed to go back-to-back so that breeds even more confidence into this group, and we want to maintain that," Bowyer added.
