Manager Looks For Winger To Keep Improving
Gary Bowyer says Bright Osayi-Samuel is making positive strides in his development again following a period of transfer speculation.
The winger, 18, has had a rapid rise to the first-team setup since making his debut for the club in March 2015 and already has 44 senior appearances to his name.
Given that attention and interest comes with the territory of being a footballer, the manager wants the youngster to keep focusing on the form he's capable of.
"There was speculation in the last window and he's only 18 years of age, so we have to remember that," Bowyer said.
"He's now come back, he's got his head down, he's got his head right now again and trained ever so well the last couple of weeks.
"As a result he's got his reward on Tuesday night and he's going in the right direction again. He's certainly somebody that would give our squad a massive boost."
