Match Preview: Leyton Orient (A)

18 November 2016

Seasiders Head To London

Fixture | Leyton Orient vs Blackpool
Date | 19 November 2016
Venue | Matchroom Stadium

Preview
Unbeaten in five and now into the top half of the league, Blackpool will attempt to break into the play-offs with victory at Leyton Orient this weekend.

The Seasiders cruised past Notts County last Saturday, after progressing in two cup competitions, and are now just one point off the top seven.

Gary Bowyer’s men have netted ten goals in their last three League Two fixtures and now aim to improve their away form with a second win on the road this season.

Leyton Orient put a run of mixed results behind them with a healthy win at Colchester United last time out so return to home soil in good spirits.

Recent Form
Kyle Vassell shone as Blackpool beat Notts County 4-0 last time out. That win came after a 4-2 success over Doncaster Rovers and 2-2 draw at Cheltenham Town in league action.

Orient put three past Colchester without reply last Saturday, but have struggled on home soil, winning just one and losing their other seven at the Matchroom Stadium.

Team News
Danny Philliskirk is expected to recover from illness to travel, meaning just Dean Lyness and Jack Redshaw are the only unavailable Seasiders.

Orient will do without skipper Liam Kelly, who is a long-term absentee, while Ulrich N’Nomo missed last week’s game with an ankle injury so is again doubtful.
