Seasiders Head To Field Mill
Fixture | Mansfield vs Blackpool
Date | 22 November 2016
Venue | Field Mill
Having claimed back-to-back wins and a first three-point haul on the road since September at the weekend, Blackpool travel to Mansfield in good shape to continue their momentum.
With the Field Mill surface passing a pitch inspection on Tuesday morning, The Seasiders head to Nottinghamshire looking to build on their six-match unbeaten run.
Victory at Leyton Orient took Gary Bowyer’s side into the play-off places and now the target will be to solidify their position in the top seven.
Mansfield are having a resurgence under Steve Evans and got off to a winning start against Crawley Town at the weekend, so will be a tough test for Pool.
Jamille Matt and Tom Aldred fired Blackpool to victory at Orient, which came after a 4-0 thrashing of Notts County the week previous.
Mansfield beat Crawley 3-1 on Saturday in Evans’ first game after they’d gone four matches without victory previously.
Bowyer will select from the same pool of players on Tuesday, with only Dean Lyness and Jack Redshaw missing out.
Mansfield will do without Lee Collins, George Taft and Kevan Hurst, while loanee Alex Iacovitti is suspended.
