Striker On 4-0 Win
Kyle Vassell believes Blackpool's 4-0 win over Notts County was a reward for self belief.
The striker netted twice as The Seasiders comfortably dispatched of The Magpies at Bloomfield Road.
After insisting a big win was coming previously, Vassell was delighted to let the football do the talking.
“We all knew it would come but it means nothing if we don’t back it up next Saturday,” he said.
“The boys dug in very well. There were a few tough points in the game, it’s a clean sheet for the boys at the back and a good win.”
Vassell scored in each half, while Colin Daniel and Jamille Matt were also on target, and the 23-year-old was pleased to see the goals shared.
“It came at a good time (his first) because they were looking alright. I was buzzing for the other boys to score as well.
“We’ve got a strong team, a strong squad, even the boys who aren’t in the team fit in straight away.
“We knew in the camp this was coming but we need to make sure we go again next Saturday,” he added.
