Blackpool Head To The Macron

Fixture | Bolton Wanderers vs Blackpool
Date | 4 October 2016
Venue | Macron Stadium

Preview
Taking a break from League Two football, Blackpool head to neighbours Bolton Wanderers looking to put themselves in a commanding position in their Checkatrade Trophy group.

The Seasiders won on game one against Cheltenham Town in August, while Bolton were beaten by Everton Under-21s on home soil.

Both sides look likely to make changes in a bid to give squad players minutes on the pitch, which worked to good effect for The Seasiders against Cheltenham.

Recent Form
In the league, Gary Bowyer’s men are amidst a mixed run of results, after victory against Portsmouth was followed up with a frustrating defeat at Crawley Town on Saturday.

Bolton are struggling for results at the moment and the weekend’s 2-0 defeat to Oxford United made it seven games without a win for Phil Parkinson’s side.

Team News
Blackpool are unlikely to risk Clark Robertson and Andy Taylor, who have both been withdrawn early in recent games. Sam Slocombe, Danny Pugh and Jack Redshaw remain sidelined.

Dean Moxey has a problem with his groin, while Chris Taylor is ill, meaning neither will feature for Bolton. They did have Mark Beevers and Gary Madine back in action at the weekend, however.
