Manager On Blackpool's 3-0 Win
Gary Bowyer was a happy man after watching his Blackpool side claim their first away win of the season at Yeovil Town.
Second-half goals from Colin Daniel (two) and Armand Gnanduillet sealed a 3-0 victory, as The Seasiders picked off the opposition on the counter attack.
Speaking post-match, here's what the manager had to say.
Ideal away performance and result.
When you come away from home, keep a clean sheet and score three, good goals you've got to be delighted with it.
Great support.
The amount of fans that we had was terrific. We had a seven hour journey yesterday so I appreciate the effort that the fans made today. The support was terrific.
Reflections on the 90 minutes as a whole.
I thought in the first-half we started off OK, we had numerous corners but we weren't just quite clinical enough. In the second-half we asked them to take more care in the final third and they were tremendous. It was thoroughly deserved, I thought, in the end.
Potts and Daniel switching positions for the second-half and the latter scoring twice.
With the wind we felt that cutting in on your stronger foot you've got a better opportunity of shooting. Even I didn't think he could produce something as wonderful as that! It was a fantastic strike, and we then followed it up with a great goal in terms of Pottsy releasing Colin to slide it in for his second. It was a pleasing afternoon with that.
Counter-attacking to seal the victory.
At 1-0 you're always waiting for the onslaught of the opposition, but we dug in and then picked them off on the counter, which I'm pleased with.
