Previews
Blackpool tails are up after victory at Yeovil Town last weekend and Gary Bowyer’s men will look to continue the feel-good factor with a result at Colchester United on Saturday.

Last week’s win was Pool’s first on the road this season and came courtesy of a dominant performance at Huish Park.

Back in the top half, the incentive for The Seasiders is to stay there when they face Colchester, who they were relegated alongside in May.

The Us are two points better off than Blackpool but come into the game on the back of defeat to Exeter City on home soil last time out.

Recent Form
Colin Daniel inspired Blackpool to victory at Yeovil, netting two second-half goals in the 3-0 success. Pool’s other away results have brought about one draw and one defeat.

After leading at the break, Colchester went on to lose 3-2 at home to Exeter on Saturday. They have beaten Cambridge United and Grimsby Town on home soil so far, however.

Team News
Danny Philliskirk is set to provide a major boost to Gary Bowyer, who declared the striker fit to travel. Jack Payne also comes back into the reckoning after serving his one-match ban. Mark Cullen, Jack Redshaw and Jamille Matt remain absent.

Colchester midfielder Doug Loft will miss the next three months after damaging his Achilles. Craig Slater returns from international duty, while Arsenal loanee Glen Kamara is set for his debut. Owen Garvan remains out with a leg problem.
