Stage Play About Alan Ball Comes To Lytham St Annes

5 September 2016

Tickets Remain Available For Ball Of Fire

A stage play about the life and times of former Blackpool and England midfielder Alan Ball comes to the Lowther Pavilion in Lytham St Annes on Thursday.

Proudly presented by the Blue Park Theatre Company, 'Ball of Fire' recounts the early struggles of the 1966 World Cup winner on his path to becoming a professional footballer.

Starring his ex-Everton team-mate Ronny Goodlass and written by Kenny O'Connell, the play has the full support of Alan Ball's family and provides a fascinating insight to the man who made his professional debut for The Seasiders in 1962.

Ball's former Blackpool and England team-mate Jimmy Armfield is also set to hold a question and answer session following the production.

General admission tickets for 'Ball of Fire' are priced at £14 and can be purchased by calling 01253 794221 or clicking here.
