Daniel Looking For Reaction

30 April 2017

Winger Wants Response Against Orient

While disappointed with defeat, Colin Daniel has his sights set on recovering quickly for next week’s crucial Leyton Orient clash.

The Seasiders were beaten by Notts County on Saturday but know three points next week will see them finish in the play-offs.

Orient stand in their way and Daniel is relived Pool’s fate is in their own hands.

“Our goal difference is going to play a huge part and hopefully we’ll get the three points against Leyton Orient next week,” he said.

“It’s still in our own hands so if we get three points next week we’re in the play-offs. We’re good at bouncing back, we’ve got a good group of lads and the confidence is there.”

Blackpool conceded from a set piece, which disappointed Daniel, who knew what to expect.

“We knew we were going to come up against loads of balls into the box and we had to deal with it but we didn’t deal with the second ball there.

“We knew it would be a tough place to come, but too many of us didn’t turn up today, so we’ve got to react quickly,” he added.
