Round Two of the Checkatrade Trophy sees Blackpool host Mansfield Town at Bloomfield Road this evening, kick-off 7pm.
The winner of the tie will be decided on the night, with the match going straight to penalties if the score is level on the full-time whistle.
Last Time Out:
Blackpool topped Northern Group B after beating Middlesbrough's under-21s 4-1 at Bloomfield Road. Danny Philliskirk scored twice, with the other goals coming courtesy of long range strikes from Sessi D'Almeida and Sean Longstaff.
League Two opponents Mansfield Town finished second in Northern Group G after a solitary goal from Zandor Diamond proved enough to see of Everton's under-21s.
Manager Gary Bowyer is once again expected to rotate his squad, with a number of players needing minutes. The likes of Andy Taylor, Scott Quigley and Max Clayton are expected to feature, with Clark Robertson, Curtis Tilt and Mark Cullen still unavailable.
Mansfield made wholesale changes in the last round and could also do so again, though boss Steve Evans will be keen for his side to maintain an unbeaten run that now stretches to 11 games in all competitions.
