Fixture | Shrewsbury Town vs Blackpool – Date | 16 December 2017 – Venue | Montgomery Waters Meadow
Blackpool take on one of the division's early-pace setters tomorrow, as The Seasiders travel to Shrewsbury Town.
The match sees former Rotherham team-mates Gary Bowyer and Paul Hurst in the dugouts, with both looking for their respective sides to get back to winning ways in League One.
Blackpool have taken four points from their last two away fixtures, however.
Last Time Out:
Kelvin Mellor scored his third goal in as many matches for Blackpool last weekend, though his superb strike went without reward as The Seasiders fell to a 2-1 defeat at home to Rotherham.
The Shrews, meanwhile, rescued a point late on against MK Dons, with Shaun Whalley's 86th minute leveller avoiding a third straight defeat.
Kyle Vassell misses out on the opportunity of facing his former club with a recurrence of the hamstring problem that has restricted his game time in recent weeks. Fellow striker Mark Cullen is still a month off making his return to the side.
Defender Curtis Tilt could be involved for Blackpool after missing the last two league matches, though Ollie Turton remains out.
Shrewsbury's Junior Brown has been ruled out for the season after knee surgery, however Paul Hurst's squad isn't too trouble by injuries elsewhere. Changes could be made though, with Bryn Morris pushing for involvement.
