Viv Solomon-Otabor's loan deal with the club has been extended until the end of the season.
The winger, who made his Blackpool debut against Bradford City in August, has made 22 appearances since arriving from Birmingham City and found the net on two occasions.
"It's great to get the deal sorted for the rest of the season," manager Gary Bowyer said.
"Viv has already made some good progress in his time with us so far, and he now needs to kick on and add more goals and assists to his game in the second half of the season."
The 21-year-old's initial loan agreement was due to expire on 6 January, 2018.
