Back At Bloomfield Road
Fixture | Blackpool vs Barnet
Date | 28 February 2017
Venue | Bloomfield Road
Back-to-back home games begin with a clash against Barnet on Tuesday for Blackpool, who are looking to turn draws into wins at Bloomfield Road.
The Seasiders have drawn their previous four matches on home soil and are without a win at Bloomfield Road since November.
Gary Bowyer will be hoping maximum points will see his side bridge the seven-point gap on the play-offs, which was extended after the draw at Exeter City.
Barnet are one of the sides between Pool and the play-offs, but arrive with just one win from their previous eight matches.
The Seasiders let a two-goal lead slip at St James Park on Saturday, after goals from Colin Daniel and Brad Potts had them in front. It was a similar story in their last home game, as Crewe Alexandra came from two goals down to draw with Pool.
Barnet lost by a solitary goal against Cambridge United on Saturday. They’d previously drawn 1-1 with Portsmouth but have a better away record, with seven victories on the road so far.
Bowyer confirmed he has no fresh injury problems to contend with. The likes of Nathan Delfouneso and Kyle Vassell could come back into contention, but Jim McAlister and Neil Danns miss out. Tom Aldred serves the second of his two-game ban.
Jamie Stephens and Jack Taylor miss out for Barnet, who are also expected to be without Josh Vickers, James Pearson, Michael Gash and Shaun Batt.
