Skipper Disappointed With Defending
Andy Taylor was left frustrated by Blackpool’s defending on Saturday and insists they must bounce back quickly.
The Seasiders were out of sorts at the back, as they surrendered a two-goal lead against Crewe Alexandra.
The skipper returned to action in the draw but was less pleased post-match.
“All goals are disappointing to concede but it’s the manner this time,” he said. “We weren’t at the levels we normally are.
“It’s another one gone, we’ve got 15 games left and we’ve got to have a really good push now and see where it takes us.
“We’ve got to go again next Saturday and hopefully we can get all three points.”
Taylor missed the trips to Carlisle United and Portsmouth with a shoulder injury but was passed fit to return against The Railwaymen.
“I’ve never had a shoulder problem before so wasn’t sure what it was, but we had all the checks and it was clear.
“It’s still sore but it’s manageable. I was pleased to be back in but obviously not pleased with how it went and the result,” he added.
