Defender Relishing Cup Tie
Clark Robertson believes Blackpool can take heart from their first Barnsley tie when attempting to progress in the FA Cup on Tuesday night.
The Seasiders held their own against Championship opposition and will replay at Oakwell after a goalless draw 10 days ago.
Robertson, who helped Pool to a clean sheet that day, is hopeful they can complete the job in South Yorkshire.
“It was disappointing that we didn’t win the first game,” he explained. “We created so many chances and their goalkeeper made some great saves, so hopefully it’s the same again but we take our chances this time.
“I can’t wait for the game. It’s a nice stadium to play at and they should get a few fans there. Hopefully we can go there and be solid, and get the goal to get into the next round.
“It would be good to go to Ewood Park, so hopefully we can get the job done on Tuesday,” he said.
