Positional Options Proving Beneficial For Midfielder
Colin Daniel says he's happy to be versatile for the benefit of the team, with the midfielder currently playing in his fifth position of the season.
The 29-year-old has started Blackpool's last two matches at left-back and continues to be an asset wherever he plays on the park.
"I don't mind playing wherever I'm playing on the pitch, whether it's on the right, left, left-back or left wing-back, I always enjoy playing," he told the official website.
"Sometimes when you play left-back you have to rein it in a bit but I don't mind playing there. It helps you expect more of your left-winger, so it helps me when I play left-wing or left-back."
Daniel is part of a side currently on a nine-match unbeaten run in Sky Bet League Two, though nobody is getting ahead of themselves ahead of facing Luton Town this weekend.
"Everyone is happy and just looking forward to the next game. We're taking it game-by-game and seeing where it takes us at the end of the season," he said.
"Last time we played them they played very well and it will be a tough place to go, but we're confident of getting the three points as long as we put in a good performance.
"We're capable of beating anyone at this level with the attacking players that we've got and we're also defending as a team."
Competition for places is extremely strong going in to the final seven games of the campaign, with top scorer Kyle Vassell marking his return from a metatarsal injury with a goal last weekend.
"When he got injured he was a bit scared that he'd miss the rest of the season but he's back early, he looks fit, he looks strong and doesn't look like he's missed any games.
"If we can keep all our best players fit then hopefully we'll do well come the end of the season," Daniel added.
