Forward Looks For Blackpool To Push On
Nathan Delfouneso insists Blackpool must start to turn draws into victories in order to challenge the top half of the table again.
The forward, who was on target in a 2-2 draw against Barnet last night, credited his team-mates for having the desire to rescue a point but also revealed an overall frustration in the squad.
"We didn't lose and we showed good character and good spirit to come back to 2-2, but I feel like we shouldn't really have been in that situation in the first place," he said.
"We needed three points but at the same time we didn't lose. We've had too many draws and we need to change those draws into victories."
Having scored six goals in the last three league games, the onus is on the collective effort defensively to ensure that maximum points are achieved.
"We can't keep making mistakes which are costing us goals," Delfouneso admitted. "We need victories and we need to make sure that we cut out these mistakes so that we can move forward."
