Gary Bowyer bemoaned the goals that Blackpool conceded, as The Seasiders fell to a 3-2 home defeat against Portsmouth.
Despite fighting back on two occasions to level the scores, an 86th minute header from Brett Pitman secured all three points for the visitors.
Speaking post-match, here's what the manager had to say...
Manner of the goals
We’re disappointed with that. We did well bringing it back in the second-half but we gave it away cheaply. The manner of the goals was not acceptable.
We’ve done a lot of work on set plays so it’s disappointing from our point of view, they were poor goals
Initial fight back
You’ve seen the character and the spirit from the boys, they’ve worked really hard but it’s not been enough today.
Impact from debutant Dolly Menga
He’s got that ability. he’s worked hard here, we’ve chucked him on and he had a really positive impact.
Back-to-back home defeats
Back to back defeats is not good enough. we’ve not been competitive enough in the last two games and that will change this week.
