Colin Daniel insists that this Blackpool team has already shown what it is more than capable of this season, yet must cut out any 'silly' mistakes.
The 29-year-old, who is one of the more senior players in the dressing room, has enjoyed playing in a youthful and vibrant side that is creating plenty of opportunities.
However, as was the case against Gillingham on Tuesday night, The Seasiders must see games off in an effort to pick up maximum points from their performances.
"Everyone has seen what we can do, and everyone has seen when we pass the ball that we’re a threat and we create a lot of chances. If we can eradicate the silly mistakes from set-pieces and things like that, then I think we’ll be alright this season," Daniel said.
"The lads were disappointed against Gillingham, frustrated more than anything, because we felt like we did more than enough to win the game. Hopefully we’ll put it right on Saturday."
A big difference to Blackpool performances in recent matches has been the return of Kyle Vassell, who has notched twice in as many outings and now has eight goals for the season. It isn't just goals that the forward brings to the table, though.
"It’s the pressing, the aggressiveness, the way he puts defenders under pressure and his hold-up play. He’s a very good player," Daniel added.
