Fixture | Blackpool vs Gillingham – Date | 21 November 2017 – Venue | Bloomfield Road
Blackpool play their second of four games within a 10-day period as Gillingham visit Bloomfield Road this evening.
The Seasiders, having got back to winning ways at Peterborough on Saturday, will aim to build on that result and performance against a Gillingham side unbeaten in their last three league outings.
Last Time Out:
Kyle Vassell made a timely return to the Blackpool team by scoring the only goal of the game against Peterborough United on Saturday. The victory ended a run of disappointing results and moved The Seasiders on to 25 points from 17 matches.
Gillingham also recorded a 1-0 victory on the weekend, with Connor Wilkinson's goal on the stroke of half-time seeing off Walsall.
Jimmy Ryan has returned to training and could make a return to the Blackpool squad, though Clark Robertson (foot) and Mark Cullen (hamstring) remain sidelined.
The visitors will be without defender Max Ehmer, who was sent off in Saturday's victory at Walsall. Ben Nugent looks set to deputise in his absence. Midfielder Billy Bingham won't feature as he continues to recover from a broken ankle.
