Man of the Match Plaudits For Tilt

Defender Polls Most Votes On Social Media

18 October 2017

Curtis Tilt polled the most Twitter votes to be named Blackpool's Man of the Match against Bury.

The defender, who scored the decisive goal in the 2-1 victory, had a big influence on the match at both ends of the pitch, given that he also headed a dangerous ball off his own line.

The 26-year-old received 42 per cent of the votes for his performance, with Kelvin Mellor and Jay Spearing polling 23 per cent each. The other 13 per cent went to Tilt's centre-back partner, Clark Robertson.
