Fixture | Accrington Stanley vs Blackpool – Date | 3 October 2017 – Venue | Wham Stadium
Blackpool's second Checkatrade Trophy fixture in Northern Group B takes place away to Accrington Stanley tonight, kick-off 7.30pm.
The match will be The Seasiders' last one for 11 days, with a break from league action this weekend due to the Blackburn Rovers game being rearranged.
Last Time Out:
Fin Sinclair-Smith marked his Blackpool debut with a goal in the club's previous Checkatrade Trophy fixture against Wigan Athletic.
The match ended 1-1 at Bloomfield Road, though the visitors picked up a bonus point after winning a penalty shoot-out.
Accrington, meanwhile, played out a five-goal thriller against Middlesbrough.
A goal from substitute from Liam Nolan in the 92nd minute secured a 3-2 victory for Stanley.
Team News:
Manager Gary Bowyer is expected to utilise his full squad again for this latest Checkatrade Trophy match.
New rules this season permit qualifying players named in the starting line-up to have made 40 or more first-team appearances in their career.
That means the likes of Andy Taylor and Max Clayton will be given valuable game-time.
Accrington are also expected to make changes to their side, with Mekhi McLeod and Erico Sousa set to feature again.
Match Betting Odds:
Accrington Win - 7/5
Draw - 5/2
Blackpool Win - 9/5
