Fixture | Northampton Town vs Blackpool – Date | 28 October 2017 – Venue | Sixfields Stadium
Blackpool round off the month of October with an away trip to Northampton tomorrow.
The match kicks-off at the earlier time of 2pm to avoid a direct clash with a rugby union fixture in the town.
Last Time Out:
The Seasiders will look to bounce back from a 3-1 home defeat to Wigan Athletic last weekend, which ended the club's unbeaten start to the campaign at Bloomfield Road.
Northampton picked up their third league victory of the season with a 2-1 win at Gillingham. Danny Powell and Matt Grimes were on target for The Cobblers.
Skipper Jimmy Ryan hopes to deliver a fitness boost by returning to action for the fixture, though Clark Robertson (foot), Mark Cullen (hamstring) and Kyle Vassell (hamstring) are definitely out.
Opportunity knocks for a number of other Blackpool players, who will look to step up and have an immediate impact on the side.
Alex Revell is back in contention for Northampton, having now completed a three-game suspension. Lewis McGugan is fit to play and Brendan Maloney could also come into contention following his recovery for a knee injury.
