Fixture | Walsall vs Blackpool – Date | 14 October 2017 – Venue | Banks's Stadium
Fresh from a break last weekend, Blackpool will look to get back to winning ways against Walsall tomorrow.
The Seasiders, who are yet to play a league fixture this month, come up against a Saddlers side unbeaten on home soil so far this season.
Last Time Out:
A penalty save denied Blackpool a point from their last league encounter, which came away at Southend United. Kyle Vassell scored his fifth goal of the campaign as The Seasiders fell to a 2-1 defeat at Roots Hall.
Walsall, meanwhile, drew 1-1 with league leaders Shrewsbury Town, who came back from a goal down to secure a point at the Banks's Stadium.
Jay Spearing could be set for his Blackpool debut after completing a move to the club last week, while Armand Gnanduillet has returned to training following a thigh problem.
Jim McAlister, though given the all-clear to resume training after fracturing his tibia in February, is still some way off a first-team return. Mark Cullen, meanwhile, has undergone an operation on his hamstring and will miss the next few months of action.
Walsall expect to welcome back midfielder Adam Chambers for the match, while youngster Kory Roberts will be hoping to retain his place in the starting line-up.
