Team News: Nine Changes For Accrington Match

Bowyer Utilises Squad For Checkatrade Trophy Match

3 October 2017

Blackpool manager Gary Bowyer has made nine changes to his side for tonight's Checkatrade Trophy fixture at Accrington Stanley.

Just Curtis Tilt and Nathan Delfouneso remain from the team that started against Southend United on Saturday, with the likes of Andy Taylor, Kelvin Mellor, Max Clayton and Scott Quigley stepping up from the bench.

There's also a first competitive start for Congo international goalkeeper Christoffer Mafoumbi.

The changes made for the match are permitted within the rules of the competition, as more than four qualifying outfield players have made more than 40 first-team career appearances.

Team: Mafoumbi, Mellor, Aimson, Tilt, Anderton, Taylor, Cooke, Delfouneso, Philliskirk, Quigley, Clayton

Subs: Allsop, Turton, Robertson, Ryan, Longstaff, Sinclair-Smith, Roache
