Longstaff Wins Another Man of the Match Vote

Saturday's Match-Winner Claims 63 Per Cent of the Vote

4 September 2017

For the second consecutive week, Sean Longstaff has been named Blackpool fans' Man of the Match on social media.

The midfielder, who polled 63 per cent of the vote on Twitter, scored the match-winning goal as The Seasiders recorded a 1-0 victory against AFC Wimbledon on Saturday.

The strike ensured that the 19-year-old maintained his record of scoring in all four Sky Bet League One games he has started for the club.

The player who ran him closest to the Man of the Match plaudits was defender Curtis Tilt, who received 20 per cent of the vote.
