Fixture | Bristol Rovers vs Blackpool – Date | 23 September 2017 – Venue | Memorial Stadium
Blackpool will look to maintain their strong, early season form when facing Bristol Rovers at the Memorial Stadium tomorrow.
The Seasiders, unbeaten in seven league matches, picked up their first away victory of the season at Plymouth Argyle earlier this month.
Last Time Out:
Goals from Kyle Vassell (2) and Callum Cooke helped Blackpool to a 3-1 victory against Oxford United last weekend.
Bristol Rovers, meanwhile, went the distance in the Carabao Cup at Wolves on Tuesday night, losing out 1-0 in extra-time at Molineux.
Manager Gary Bowyer is likely to call upon the same squad again for the trip to Bristol, with everybody coming through the last outing unscathed.
Jim McAlister (broken tibia), Mark Cullen (hamstring) and Armand Gnanduillet (thigh) are continuing to make progress on the injury front, though remain sidelined.
The opposition will be without captain Tom Lockyer, who was dismissed against Wolves in midweek. Fellow defender Ryan Sweeney does return from suspension, however.
Former Blackpool goalkeeper Sam Slocombe is expected to retain his place between the sticks, though a doubt remains about the availability of full-back Dan Leadbitter.
Match Betting Odds:
Bristol Rovers Win - 13/10
