Fixture | Southend United vs Blackpool – Date | 30 September 2017 – Venue | Roots Hall
Blackpool will look to round off a very good September with a positive result at Southend United tomorrow.
The Seasiders have picked up 11 points from a possible 18 so far this month and kept three clean sheets in the process.
The visit to Roots Hall will be the club's first since November 2015.
Last Time Out:
Blackpool played out a goal-less draw with Rochdale in midweek, which took the team's points tally in Sky Bet League One to 18.
Southend, meanwhile, edged out AFC Wimbledon 1-0 thanks to a goal from Jason Demetriou. That result moved them on to 13 points from 10 games.
A number of players will be given as long as possible to declare themselves available for the fixture, most notably Jimmy Ryan following the ankle knock he sustained against Rochdale.
Phil Brown is still unable to call on Rob Kiernan or Michael Turner for Southend, though a few other early season injury concerns have now cleared up.
