Viv Solomon-Otabor was pleased to help Blackpool pick up another three points on Saturday, though disappointed not to find himself on the score-sheet.
The winger, on loan from Birmingham City, played the full 90 minutes of the 1-0 victory against AFC Wimbledon and struck the post on two occasions.
“I was disappointed not to get a goal, but at the end of the day we got the three points. Hopefully the goals will come,” he said.
“I want to get as much game time as I can, and to get a lot of assists and goals. I want to be confident and play the way I naturally play, and the gaffer has allowed me to do that so far. It is up to me to repay him now.”
The 21-year-old has featured in six of Blackpool’s opening seven games so far this season and admits to settling in well at Bloomfield Road.
“I am settling fine and everyone has welcomed me. I get on with everybody and I just want to thank everyone for making me feel welcome,” he added.
