Kyle Vassell says the talent and confidence in the Blackpool squad is bringing about so many goals from distance this season.
All three goals in the victory against Oxford United on Saturday came from outside the area, which took the team's tally for such strikes to a record nine across the divisions.
Vassell, who was responsible for two of the goals against The U's, insists there is no secret formula, just belief.
"We’ve got good players that can hit a ball and I guess it’s just confidence as well. Everyone is confident to hit the ball and they believe it’s going to hit the target. If it hits the target, then it can go in," he said.
One of the forward's goals on Saturday came courtesy of a free-kick and ended a bit of a wait for a set-piece net-buster.
"I got close the other week - well two close ones with my left foot - and I’m buzzing to finally put one in because the gaffer’s been giving me a bit of stick. I’m happy to shut him up now," he said with a smile.
"It was all about the win, to be fair, but to get two goals I’m delighted, and the way they went in I’m very happy with."
The victory made it four league wins from four at Bloomfield Road and seven consecutively when you count the end of last season. The run is one that the players are determined to maintain.
"We want to make this a really horrible place for people to come and if we can keep getting results like that and performances like that, especially first-half, then it’s going to be that," Vassell added.
