Gary Bowyer has hailed Curtis Tilt as one of Blackpool’s most consistent performers ahead of Saturday’s meeting with Bradford City.
It was in the previous encounter at Valley Parade back in August where Tilt made his debut in league football, having previously played as high as the conference.
Since the season opener the 26-year-old has established himself at the heart of the Blackpool defence and played more league minutes than anybody else in the squad.
“He’s been phenomenal for us,” the manager admitted. “His debut in itself was a fantastic league debut away at Bradford. He just took to it like a duck to water, he was unbelievable that day. I remember saying at the end of the game what an impressive debut it was. He hasn’t looked back since.
“He’s one that we want more goals from but the level of consistency he’s shown this season has been fantastic for us. He’s been right up there as one of our most consistent performers.”
