Harry Pritchard was happy with his first competitive run-out in a Blackpool shirt, having stepped up from non-league this summer.
The midfielder made his EFL debut in The Seasiders’ opening day draw at Adams Park, playing the full 90 minutes.
“I’m happy, it’s my league debut and I thought I did well. I thought I worked hard, which is obviously part of my game, and I’ll just look to improve in every single game,” he said post-match.
The location for his first appearance proved to be ideal, given his roots in the area and from previously playing with Maidenhead United.
“When the fixtures were drawn it was a shock to obviously get Wycombe first game but I was more than happy with that. My family came down to support and we had a good following from the Blackpool fans,” he continued.
“I thought we dug deep, which we knew it was going to be a physical game and we knew their threat of Akinfenwa up top. It’s a good point away from home and it sets us up for a good start to the season.”
