Match Preview: Barnsley (H)

Seasiders Host The Tykes

21 December 2018

It's seventh versus eighth in Sky Bet League One this weekend, as Barnsley face Blackpool at Bloomfield Road.

The two sides, both pushing for the play-off spots, play each other for the second time this season, having previously met in the Carabao Cup in August.

Blackpool, who progressed in the Emirates FA Cup in midweek, will be aiming to record a third straight league victory at home.

The visitors, meanwhile, go in search of their first league win of the month.

Team News:

Joe Dodoo will miss out for Blackpool after being forced off with an ankle injury against Solihull Moors, while Ollie Turton continues to be monitored following the hamstring issue he picked up at Oxford. Nathan Delfouneso could come back into the starting XI.

Former Blackpool midfielder Brad Potts will likely start for Barnsley, who don't have any fresh injury concerns. Just Kenny Dougall remains out.
