Gary Bowyer has challenged his players to keep the momentum going after an unbeaten run that now stretches to four games.
The Seasiders travel to Portsmouth this weekend aiming to build on some strong recent displays against the likes of Wigan Athletic and Peterborough United.
"That’s four games unbeaten now and we’ve got some momentum going. We’ve got to keep that momentum going this weekend now," Bowyer said.
"We’ve got to be organised, we’ve got to keep that desire we’ve shown over the last couple of games and we’ve got to keep sticking together and working hard to get three points."
The manager had a good look at the opposition earlier this week, with Portsmouth in action at Fleetwood.
"The fact that it was just at Fleetwood was handy. They’re a very well organised team, as we know all the time when you play a Kenny Jackett team. They’ve got a threat up front and scored two, good goals. It was good to get there and watch them live," he admitted.
Blackpool's squad for the last matches has been without the presence of Kyle Vassell, however that could change for the fixture at Fratton Park.
"Kyle Vassell certainly will (come into contention) and it will be a welcome, timely boost for us. We all know about what he brings to the team and the squad. We’ve been sensible with him and hopefully this is him for the run-in now," Bowyer added.
