Trinity Confirm Money Raised From Bucket Collections

Supporters Donate Total of £4,855 To Hospice

30 January 2018

Bucket collections held for Trinity Hospice both inside and outside of Bloomfield Road on Saturday raised £4,855.

The club will be topping up that total by a further £3,140 should the remaining Jimmy Armfield tribute programmes from Saturday be sold, while home match ticket sales are to also be donated to the charity.

The 'Armfield 2' t-shirts that the players wore have also been given to the Hospice to utilise for fundraising purposes.

Linzi Young, Trinity's Head of Fundraising, said: “We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of Blackpool supporters, the various fans’ groups, and also by the goodwill of the club in recent days.”
