Forward Joe Dodoo is to join Blackpool on a season-long loan deal from SPL side Rangers.
The 22-year-old, who started his career with Leicester City, moves to Bloomfield Road having made 27 appearances in two seasons with his parent club, scoring five times.
Born in Ghana, Dodoo has represented England at under-18 level and spent part of last season on loan at Charlton Athletic, where he hit two goals in eight appearances.
Manager Gary Bowyer said:
“Joe is a fantastic signing for us and I would like to thank Rangers for allowing him to join for the season. He can play in a variety of positions across the front line and adds pace, power and goals to the side. We’re really excited to work with him.”
Joe Dodoo added:
“I’m delighted to be here. I spoke to the manager and he told me what he’s trying to achieve this season and I like the sound of it. It’s a good club and I can’t wait to get started and playing.”
The deal remains subject to international clearance being received.
