Home match ticket sales from last night's 1-0 victory against Charlton Athletic raised £10,981 for Trinity Hospice.
The club announced back in January, when the initial match was due to be played, that ticket sales in the home ends would be donated to the charity in memory of Jimmy Armfield, who was President of Trinity Hospice.
Profits from match programmes paying tribute to Jimmy are also set to be donated, with a final figure to be confirmed in the coming days. The club does still have some of these for sale, however, and plans to pass a number of them over to Trinity Hospice to sell directly.
An official cheque presentation will take place once the match programme profits have been factored in.
