Gary Bowyer is determined to see his side sign-off the season with another good result tomorrow.
The Seasiders travel to play-off bound Rotherham United aiming to make it six games unbeaten, having recently surged back up the table and into the top-half.
“It’s going to be a good game there, for sure. It’s a nice, big pitch and we’ve got to go and try and continue the performance levels that we’ve produced. From those performance levels, we’ve obviously got those results that you’ve seen in the last couple of games,” the manager said.
“We want to keep that going. It’s the last game of the season and this one will go through with us all the way through the summer.”
Blackpool’s recent form has coincided with Nathan Delfouneso scoring five goals in as many matches, with this fixture at the New York Stadium representing an opportunity for the forward to finish up on double figures for the campaign.
“For him to get double figures would be a good return from him. It’ll be the first time in his career, which I’ve said before when I’ve spoken about him that he should be doing more consistently.
“Hopefully the way he’s finishing the season stands him in good stead for next season,” he added.
