Vote For Your October Player of the Month

Turton, Tilt and Thompson Shortlisted For Club Award

5 November 2018

Supporters can now select Blackpool's October Player of the Month from a shortlist of three.

Once again competing in three competitions, The Seasiders picked up seven league points during the month and also faced Arsenal in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.

Below is a summary of the three players in contention for the accolade:

Ollie Turton:

Blackpool's Mr. Dependable, Ollie Turton has continued to perform consistently playing in three different positions - right-back, left-back and centre-midfield. His versatily was crucial throughout the month and he also set-up Armand Gnanduillet for a fine winner against Scunthorpe United.

Curtis Tilt:

The centre-back has stepped up from an attacking point of view this season, finding the net on a more consistent basis. Goals against Rochdale and AFC Wimbledon made it three for the season, while he also helped Blackpool keep two clean sheets at the other end of the pitch.

Jordan Thompson:

The summer signing from Rangers has found himself an influential role in the Blackpool side playing as a 'number 10'. He scored his first goal for the club against Rochdale and added another at Fleetwood over a week ago.
