Match Preview: Rochdale

A Look Ahead To Saturday's Fixture

5 October 2018

Blackpool will look to sign off from Sky Bet League One action for two weeks with a positive result against Rochdale tomorrow.

The Seasiders, unbeaten in 12 matches, head into the match on the back of a 2-2 draw with high-flying Peterborough United last weekend, while Rochdale drew 0-0 with Bristol Rovers in midweek.

Three points separate the two sides in the table, however Blackpool do also have a game in hand.

Team News:

The return of Donervon Daniels from suspension poses something of a defensive dilemma for The Seasiders, with Curtis Tilt and Ben Heneghan having struck up a solid partnership in recent matches. Chris Taylor and Harry Pritchard are back training, though Joe Bunney misses out on the chance to face his former club. Captain Jimmy Ryan has now had surgery and is expected to be out for three months.

The visitors will be without on-loan Fulham goalkeeper Magnus Norman, who was sent off against Bristol Rovers in midweek. Josh Lillis will start between the sticks.
