Blackpool will aim to maintain their momentum in the league when Scunthorpe United visit Bloomfield Road toni
The Seasiders, who recorded a 2-0 victory at home to AFC Wimbledon on Saturday, are currently on a 10-match unbeaten run in Sky Bet League One.
Scunthorpe, meanwhile, will look to bounce back from the disappointment of a 3-2 defeat at Wycombe Wanderers last time out. The Iron led 2-0 after just seven minutes at Adams Park, but ended up losing out to a 94th minute strike from Craig Mackail-Smith.
Saturday's goalscorer Marc Bola picked up a knock to his ankle against AFC Wimbledon, though is expected to be fine to play. The biggest decision for manager Terry McPhillips will be whether to change a winning side, given that midweek games have always resulted in squad rotation.
As for Scunthorpe, they will be without midfielders Josh Morris and Matthew Lund due to injury, while Lee Novak is considered a doubt with a calf problem. The visitors may well be unchanged.
"We adapted well and found a way to win on Saturday, and we now want to try and get on a winning run. The lads are in good fettle and competition within the squad is high. This is an exciting period of games for us and we're really looking forward to the match against Scunthorpe."
“We go to a real in-form Blackpool, who are hard-working, organised and defensively strong. They’re on the back of ten games unbeaten and we know it’s a tough one, but when the chips are down you need characters to come to the fore and that’s what we’ll aim to do."
Thomas Bramall has been confirmed to officiate tonight's fixture, having refereed 13 games so far this season.
This will be the first time he has overseen a Blackpool match however, as he was promoted from the National League at the start of the campaign.
