Jordan Thompson says the Blackpool dressing room was a frustrated one following Saturday’s draw with Rochdale.
A late equaliser from the visitors denied The Seasiders all three points at Bloomfield Road, in a game where Thompson notched his first goal for the club.
“It feels like a loss and the boys were saying that in the changing room. In the second-half we dominated most of the possession and created a few chances, but we should have taken them,” Thompson said.
Despite the draw, Blackpool’s summer arrival from Rangers revealed he’s enjoying his time at the club.
“I’m playing games and that’s what I came down here to do. The boys are doing well and we’re just looking to push on now,” he admitted.
A call-up to the Northern Ireland under-21 squad means that he’ll now head off for a week to represent his country in UEFA Euro Under-21 qualifiers.
“We’re away to Iceland and then at home to Slovakia so they’re two big games. I missed out due to suspension in the last qualifiers so hopefully I can go back and get another few games under my belt,” he added.
