Match Preview: Plymouth Argyle (A)

Seasiders Travel To Home Park

14 September 2018

Blackpool's longest journey of the season takes place this weekend, as The Seasiders make the 642-mile round trip to Home Park.

Pool take to the road unbeaten in eight matches in all competitions, having fought back from two goals down to beat Bradford City 3-2 in dramatic circumstances last Saturday.

Plymouth, meanwhile, drew 0-0 at Bristol Rovers last time out and will be hoping to secure their first three points of the campaign.

Team News:

It's likely to be same again on the squad front for Blackpool, with Jimmy Ryan, Joe Bunney, Chris Taylor, Max Clayton and Rowan Roache still sidelined due to injury.

The Pilgrims hope to have Joe Riley available for the match after he was forced off at half-time last weekend. Joel Grant is pushing for a start after making a positive impact off the bench.
