Terry McPhillips says he expects an entertaining game when Blackpool and Peterborough United meet at The ABAX Stadium tomorrow.
The fixture against the league leaders pits the best attack against the joint-best defence in the division, with Blackpool yet to concede a goal away from home in Sky Bet League One.
“Four clean sheets away from home is magnificent really. If we can build on that and try and nick a goal or two, that’d be great,” McPhillips said.
“It’s a tough game, they’ve got some really good players and they’re top of the league for a reason. That’s mainly because when they play, they score more goals than the opposition.
“But it’s an exciting game and we go there full of confidence from Tuesday and the run we’re on.”
The consistency of The Seasiders’ 11-match unbeaten run at the moment comes despite several personnel changes from week-to-week, which just emphasises the depth to the squad.
“It’s a good gauge of the squad being competitive – you can make five changes and not look any different. Fair play to those five that came in on Tuesday and performed ever so well.
“I’ve got an idea of what the team is going to be, the core, but there’s one or two really tough decisions to make,” he added.
