Tilt In Contention For North West Football Award

Defender Named In League One Category

3 September 2018

Curtis Tilt's standout debut season in league football has resulted in the defender being nominated for a North West Football Award.

The centre-back, 27, stepped up from non-league last season and made 45 appearances at the heart of the Blackpool defence, as the club finished in the top-half of the division.

Those displays saw him collect three awards at The Seasiders' End of Season Dinner, as well as glowing references for the way he'd apapted to league football at this level.

Now shortlisted for the North West Football Awards' League One Player of the Year, Tilt will vye with the likes of Blackburn Rovers's Bradley Dack, Fleetwood Town's Ash Eastham to be voted the winner of the accolade.
