Assistant manager Tony Grant has confirmed that he will be leaving his position once his contract expires with the club this summer.
The 44-year-old, who agreed a short-term deal in March, will link up with Robbie Fowler following the latter’s appointment as manager of Brisbane Roar in Australia.
“Blackpool knew the situation before I came in, Terry knew, but I was available at the time and it has worked well here,” Grant explained.
“I was respectful to Blackpool, and Blackpool’s been respectful to me. At the end of the season, I will stay here and do whatever needs to be done and I’ll be looking to go to Brisbane round about the middle of June, end of June.”
