Match Preview: Fleetwood Town (H)

Pool Host Fylde Coast Neighbours

21 April 2019

Easter Bank Holiday football sees Blackpool welcome Fylde Coast neighbours Fleetwood Town to Bloomfield Road.

The Seasiders head into the game knowing that three points would see the club surpass last season's tally of 60 points in Sky Bet League One.

Of much greater overall need is a victory at home though, with Pool's last coming against Walsall in February.

The visitors, meanwhile, rescued a late point against Peterborough United on Friday and go in search of their first win of the month.

Team News:

Blackpool will make a late check on the availability of Antony Evans for the fixture, though Ollie Turton is definitely out after suffering a hamstring injury against Scunthorpe United. Donervon Daniels is pushing to return from injury, while Michael Nottingham could also be recalled to the squad.

Fleetwood will once again be without the services of on-loan Stoke City defender Harry Souttar due to suspension. Jack Sowerby, Dean Marney and James Wallace are also expected to miss out with ongoing injuries.

Tickets for the match will be on sale until 12pm on the day. The Bloomfield Road ticket office opens from 9am, with tickets remaining priced as follows:

- £22 for Adults
- £18 for Seniors
- £10 for Under-18s
- Free for Under-11s**

*Prices exclude block M seating.

**Under-11s receive free admission to home league matches with a paying adult or senior.

Season ticket holders and members are entitled to £5 off the price of a match ticket for adults and seniors, and £2 off the price of an under-18 ticket.

Bucket Collections:

Staff and volunteers from Trinity Hospice will be present in and around the stadium for a bucket collection prior to kick-off. For further information about Trinity Hospice and the palliative care it offers, please click here

The club is also welcoming Fleetwood Town juniors, who will be participating in a walk from Highbury to Bloomfield Road in time for the match. They will be holding a bucket collection for the newly-formed Men's Shed and The Sister Shed in Fleetwood, which supports those with mental health problems.
